I am new here. I recently set up a dedicated game server for my community using NFO Servers, and while the initial performance is decent, I’ve noticed some lag during peak hours when more players join.

I’m looking for advice on how to optimize the server settings for better performance. Specifically, I would like to know:

What server configurations or settings have you found most effective in reducing lag during high traffic?
Are there specific monitoring tools you recommend to track server performance and identify bottlenecks?
How can I effectively manage resources to ensure smooth gameplay for all users?

Thanks for asking, so depending on what game it is will depend on the settings. If this is a managed game server, it would be best for you to contact us via the control panel, by clicking the Red Help! button at the bottom left. That will allow us to see your server and account info.

Is this on an unmanaged, full dedicated machine? If so, this is the correct place to discuss it. Which specs did you choose, and what type of game server and player count are you running?
