I'm pretty new to VDS and servers in general, so I'm still trying to figure things out.
I'm planning to start with a small project and I'm not sure what I should be looking for when choosing a VDS. Is CPU or RAM usually more important for a small project?
I don't expect a lot of traffic at first, so I don't want to pay for more resources than I actually need.
Any simple advice for a beginner would be really appreciated.
Thanks!
Thank you for posting in regards to this. So CPU is pretty important, but you must first decide what kind of project it is going to be. There are sensitive thinks like game servers that rely on a strong CPU, and there are other game types that a weaker CPU works with but they require more ram. So you need to figure out what your doing and go from there.
