cheating death

hello wepainters here

i am having alot of problems with cheaters so i have decided to give cheating death a try but it looks a little complicated to install can you help
i have updated the hl gaurd to hl gaurd 1.7 but it is worse than the first one doesnt catch anything i had a guy running multible hacks and it didnt catch any of them

if you can help with the instalation the server identifier i wish it to be installed on is troy1

just remember also about CD is that it doesnet work with vac, i wish it did but it doesent.

CD and VAC are client side anti-cheats, which work much more efficiently than a server side anti-cheat. You cannot expect hlguard to catch hackers so quickly and every hacker. You have to config it to catch what you want, set settings that will detect those. There are hlguard proof hacks as well. HLGuard can only do so much, CD and VAC can do more, if only VAC was updated by VALVe, but thats not the case recently. CD has been updated by the UA team on a somewhat regular basis.

I set cdrequired 0 in your server.cfg, use file manager to edit it to 1, if you want it to be required. Right now 0 means optional.

Restart the server for VAC to be turned off and CD to run

hey guy hl gaurd did update last week to 1.7 or somthing
i am running hl gaurd and cheating death i got 5 multi hacks today
in my logs

in some set ups they do work hand in hand look at the z project
the cd just blocks them from working while hl gaurd scans for the wienies

then i turn down my aimwarning settting to like low to mid 25 or so.

which i know is proble low but i only use it as a gage i am a medoaker player
but i have only hit the aimwarning once a day and they were small maps

im very happy so far i like to have somthing in writing
rather than just going om my instinks but it seems i am write most of the time

this is all good no lag no problems and they are both working

the new hl gaurd was release jan 9th it does work with cheating death
but rite now isnt to effective by itself
