Hltv Help

Hello. I cant figure out how to run our hltv on our private server. when i go to the control panel and run a demo from there it says its saved demo but everytime i try to pull it up either from the server or controll panel it says error can not run. when i type status and get the ip for the hltv server i cant connect to it it says proxy disabled. what do i do to get it to work and can someone run me through the process of making a demO? it be very helpfull thank you.

once the demo is saved its in your HLTV ftp. you can find the info for that in the little paragraph at the bottom of the HLTV Configuration page. The demo is saved in the folder of whatever mod you have. For counter-strike it goes in /cstrike/ for condition-zero it goes in /czero/ etc.

theres no file searched very single folder i went to the places u told me i searched every file it didnt work.

if its a record only hltv, you won't be able to connect to it

the demo is going to be zipped up if you try to get it after a hour

would help if you give us your identifier, something.nuclearfallout.net or something.hltv.nuclearfallout.net, something part please

I see the following files in your cstrike folder on HLTV FTP:

da-0501092105-de_cpl_strike.zip
david-0501221942-de_aztec2.zip
hello-0501221236-de_aztec2.zip
davsdr-0501171444-de_nuke.zip

you need to download, the nuke one looks like a full match, extract the demo from it, rename it to something easier, and go viewdemo name in console of cstrike

thank you very much But i still can not find it. I go to my ftp thing in the file manager section. i see all those folders and i go to addons then it lists adminmod amxmod hlgaurd and metamod if i go through the hlgaurd file theres a cstrike folder but there is no other folders or demo files. i dont mean to be a burden but can u please tell the direct path to the demos.

you're still not getting to your HLTV FTP, you are going to the gameserver FTP .
To get to the HLTV ftp, go to your control panel, click on your HLTV server, click on the Configuration tab, and then read the little paragraph at the bottom; there's a link, click it. You'll see a window pop up with a bunch of folders in it; one is cstrike, explore it. hopefully you'll see the demos in there (in .zip form)
