Re: Chicago?
it does seem somewhat up there, but it makes a bit of sense too first up, you have buildings, and turrets, there's a level of AI for the turrets, you have a number of structures, a number of players, each player has different potential loadouts, each time a building is made more memory is taken up, it does NOT seem to take more than that 600 MB though it seems, I did have a crash that said "no free edicts" and if I recall from when I did work on some mod projects and whatnot that essentially means the server ran out of memory locations to store all the information, so it seems it may be POSSIBLE to use more memory, but I think it may have to do with old information not being cleared right away, also remember the game is currently in it's BETA phase. I also may be sitting on more RAM usage because of single core set up, but I can't be certain. There's a ton that goes on in the game and so far most of the forums (official interwave and steampowered nuclear dawn) have had everyone who's able to play (there are some buggy clients on mac and other places) has absolutely loved the title... just about all of them have said it's well worth it's $20(ish during pre-order) - $25 price tag.
Anyway, you wanted to know, I told you
I know your pricing if/when you pick up the title will reflect it (the steam bug is resolved now, right NOW though the linux server does not work, I'm sure it's being worked on though).
