@TacTicToe

What is usage looking like for that server? Also do you know what kind of CPU you are on?

We have both a Arma 3 Alpha and a Wasteland Stratis server running on a dedicated.

Wasteland at 25 players runs at 13-17% CPU and just around 800,000k memory give or take.
We found going too high on the slot size caused the server to crash about every 20 mins.
There is probably a safe slot size, but we decide to stick to 25.

As for the Alpha server, it's set for 30 slots, but the Escape from Stratis map only allows 10 players. So it appears to run about half or slightly less than half than the Wasteland server.

Server is at about 730 megs RAM (never gone above that)
CPU goes 5-8% when full

I have the 8 core VDS setup, 8 gigs RAM, Atlanta - so whatever rig you have me setup on
"Eight full, dedicated HT CPU cores (Nehalem or better)"

I guess I have been lucky. Haven't had any crashes yet. Pings have been steady and smooth. Each time I look at my server via the HLSW.

Server is now empty, but this is as much CPU as i have consumed thus far.

The only real downside, is that you have to install the entire game, not a watered down server version. Also, you have to have Steam running in the background, in offline mode, or it wont work.

I will get you real numbers with the server full tomorrow night.

If Arma3 beta dedicated server files are released this month, will NFO try to support for it on managed servers.

I guess will have to wait and see if NFO will try to support the beta.

We tend not to support betas due to their unstable nature but once they release a proper dedicated server I am sure we can look into more.
