On redirect its wayy to slow.I nearly cooked up a stir fry and it was just about done downloading.
map is about 170mb which they usually are,I havent had issues in the past ,but lately its been this slow.
Ive set in my ROEgame.ini
To limit the use of the webspace for illegal activities and for mirroring files, files over 200MB in size are subject to a throttle of 50 k/s per connection when downloaded through HTTP. FTP upload and download connections are similarly throttled at 100 k/s.
When you manually navigate and download the file through a web browser what is the speed?
Can you post a link to the file so people reading can try the download? In case it is an issue isolated to you.
for a 188mb map im downloading at a crazy 25 - 40kbs . I cant have that my server will empty so fast,we are highly ranked server for red orchestra for a nearly a year.
For a counter strike sourcemap which is around 25mb im downloading at a slow pace of 1.65mbs
That is wayy to slow for a css map.
Im on 120mb fibre for my net...but i need this fixed otherwise how am i suppose to run custom maps.
@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point
@Juski> Got my new signature, thanks!
@Kraze^NFo> Out of context!
@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!
I download http://minecraft2.site.nfoservers.com/s ... ant-B1.upk at 3MB/s. It is probably a bad route to you since you live overseas and the web hosting is on the west coast USA. Files over 200MB are rate limited on purpose, I am unsure if NFO can manually remove this limit, perhaps ask them in a ticket.
