FTB simultaneous connection error

Post by CobainsDomain »

I am using Filezilla and am getting FTB simultaneous connection error. I have searched your knowledge base and found the following article:

http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... onnections

I followed the steps, same steps i was able to find directly from Filezilla's website and I'm still getting the error, no matter what i do. Is there anything else i can aside from switching programs? I've always used Filezilla, I've set the settings as per your recommendation and reset the application multiple times. It worked completely fine with my other uploads not until i attempted to access my webhosting side of things did i run into any error.

I'm attempting to upload a style to my phbb forums > style folder.

Let me know if i need to supply any further info.

I strongly recommend using SFTP instead of traditional FTP to upload or download files from a shared webhosting account. It does not have this limitation, it is more reliable and less buggy than FTP, and it is secure. It should be an option in the FileZilla client to connect via SFTP.

Edge100x thank you, you hit the nail on the head appreciate the feedback. Still kinda of new to this stuff I'm decently tech savvy and familiar with Google so i'm picking it all up fast but I'm still probably beginner level when it comes to most all of this stuff: sever hosting, ftp, phpbb etc...

Followed these steps:

and was able to get it setup properly, just finished uploading what i needed. Will remember this from now on thank you.
