cl_updaterate and cl_cmdrate

One of my friends came in and screwed up my settings while I was in the restroom a few hours ago.. and messed everything up.

I have managed to fix all but those two settings.. I can't get them to balance.. I can tweak them but I can either get high ping with no choke during fighting.. or normal ping with choke in battle..

Anyhow I need some suggestions on this and how to balance it out.

depending on your computer good/ok/notsogood:
rate 9999
cl_rate 9999
cl_updaterate 100/60/30
cl_cmdrate 101/60/40

I keep cl_updaterate at 35 and cl_cmdrate at 35.

I use 40 for both.

Hey, how did this thread suddenly go astray of the topic? Oh well...

Edge is gonna have to hack, otherwise he is gonna be the first person to get spawn killed on a normal CS map.
