Just ran into this one. Don't know much about it yet except there is a gameplay footage.

Looks interesting. Definitely something I'll want to keep an eye on.
@Kraze^NFo> Juski has a very valid point

@Kraze^NFo> Out of context!
@Juski> Doesn't matter!
@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

Looks fantastic, exactly my cup of tea. Reminds me much of Wolfenstein.

So it is on CryEngine, meaning multiplayer will be subpar at best, with a max of 16 players. Not a fan of cryengine. Then there is still the question of, can we run our own servers? Or do we have to buy a server? Will we even have control over a server? Or are they going to do the EA/Titanfail concept?

Will buy this game in a heartbeat if we can have and run our own ranked servers with no interference from developer or surcharges for servers etc.

Let's hope...

Cryengine is extremely flexible, and unless officially posted, I wouldn't expect 16 players. MMOs supporting thousands of people have been built on heavily modified cryengine(s).

Oh dear God, same company that released Alien Rage? That's a bit disheartening.

Hopefully the PS3 and Xbox 360 can handle CryEngine 3 relatively well
The free to play game warface for xbox 360 is built on cryengine 3 and it looks TERRIBLE. Pretty much unplayable.

Do you know if this is a full priced game?

From Steam order page...
Highly replayable 10 hour Single-Player Campaign and 12-player Online Multiplayer, all powered by CRYENGINE technology.
Cryengine sucks, all there is to it. Now I just hope my fears about running our own servers do not come to fruition. I am excited to see there is no ranking or XP to gain in this game. Means its all about skill. :)

$29.99 on Steam and still no way to buy it, less than a week from release. Not good. Also, no forums, official or Steam to post in. Again, not good.

Just got confirmation from CI that we will be able to host our own servers for this game. Got the reply on my Twitter feed, but there are no Twitter BB codes here. Can't embed it. At any rate, we can have our own servers and it is 12 slots for MP.

Do you know if they are doing any sort of matchmaking that will place people in servers? Seems like it would be pretty difficult to keep a 12p server active and fun all the time.

That I do not know. Info comes out in dribs and drabs and you basically have to DEMAND answers. For me though, I am hoping there is no kind of match making. For me, MM is just horrible and a PC/clan killer. Give me good old fashioned server browser any day of the week. Since it is 12 players though, I would imagine the maps to be on the smaller side, so I dont think getting servers filled should be too difficult. I mean even Crysis servers were only 16 slots.

We shall see when the game is released though.

Ok, if you were thinking of getting this game, I would advise against it. Game has severe crashing issues. Poorly optimized. They lied about hosting our own dedicated servers. You can have a listen server from your own game. No pings in server browser. No kind of AC. No way to rotate maps. No rcon support. Only 4 maps for MP. Totally not worth the price in its current condition.
