Lots of Addons

I'm going to buy 2 servers in a month or two, but I have a lot of addons. Will my gameservers be able to handle them?

There is really no good answer to this, unfortunately. Addons are known for being the main cause of server performance and with the sheer amount of them it isn't possible to say X amount will be ok.

Generally, we recommend customers only run well tested and bug-free addons. This and making sure you keep them up to-date should limit issues you may see.

Not in all cases. Many of issues I see that the addons they are running cause the server to use more CPU than it needs. While in theory using a better CPU could curb this, it's just a band-aid (that plus we run some of the fastest machines on the market). Many customers choose to lower their tickrate to 33 which helps a lot but doesn't solve everything since that will just help with CPU usage. It's possible some addons you're running are just plain broken or poorly optimized causing the server to choke when running them.

For the sake of your clients, I would keep the download size small. Other than that, too many addons can cause the server to be overloaded. This can result in taking hours to join or the server could entirely crash.

There's also the fact of conflicting addons.
