Would Gladly Like Some Help

Post by OutlawBOBClark »

So for the past 24 hours, I've been working with my new website used off of the webhosting for NFOServers (The forums can be found here), I tried installing Automod, and it didn't work, and even messed up my forums. I restored to a previous save of my forums, thankfully.

I was wondering if anyone could either help me install Automod, or give me a complete step-by-step guide on how to do it. I read other guides, but they all explain things that I can't even find. Thank you.

Looking over the files for automod, the following install steps are included:
To install AutoMOD copy the contents of the root directory to your forum root.
That is the same directory where you have your config.php file.
Then point your browser to http://your-domain.tld/install/ and follow the instructions.
Are these the same steps you followed that led to issues with your forums?

I did all of that. However, I wasn't too sure about where to put the file.

I put it in public/forums directory.

Should that be correct?

When I pointed my computer towards http://shibuyatown.site.nfoservers.com/ ... /index.php, It told me I needed to move the file.

If public/forums is your root directory, this would be correct. What error did you get, exactly?

Well, I tried deleting the files, and I accidentally deleted the includes folder.

I re-added the files, and I get the issue you can see now.
