Question about ordering a server?

Hey guys/girls. I was considering ordering a server using the coupon code that gives you 20% off for each transfer. I was wondering if this uses the ip from your old server or generates a new. Because I forgot my Ip from an old server as this was a while ago. So I just put my home IP which I dont want it to use as thats more private. But Im still transfering. Will it generate a new IP? Or will it use the old one (which I dont know)

As far as I know, you need to be transferring from another host, not moving from home hosting to NFO, to get the discount.

You will get a new IP address when moving here.
