Connecting To The Server

Post by Inspector »

Hi, Before renting a server from NFOServers I would like to know how do I connect to it.

If I rent an virtual dedicated server who uses Windows will I connect to it using FileZilla?
Becuase I used to work as an developer for a man who rented a server and I was able to connect to it using Windows Remote Control (mstsc.exe) which I found was MUCH MUCH BETTER then FileZilla, Its like an permanent instant teamviewer which gives me full controll of the server to do as I see fit.
Is it possible to use mstsc.exe on your servers?

Yes. A Windows virtual dedicated server will be controlled via "remote desktop" (or Windows Remote Control, same thing). FileZilla is just an FTP (file transfer protocol) server and client, and it's not really related to remote desktop.
