can someone please help me with setting up a vpn on my server, ive tried multiple times and have has issues, ive tried it with open vpn client and also with the config files, can someone please help me via teamviewer or some way like that ive set up vpns before on different servers the same way and i just can get it to work

Try using this guide if you are running Linux.

I've used it on multiple occasions and it works flawlessly.

ive tried this tutorial multiple times and im still having problems, this there anyway you could help me like via teamviewer or someway like that ive tried everything and i have some experience with linux

ive tryed it with the client and config files, and with the config files it builds them and i connect but it doesnt change my ip address, with the client i visit the link and theres no were to download the files ushually i can download the client msi but i cant

ive tried this with multiple tutorials and multiple ways and cannot get it to work, i have other servers running the same os from ovh and ive successfully set up vpns on them

That is a client config, while the configs are generally interchangeable you do need to edit them so the OpenVPN install knows which is which. In your case your server config has "client" listed as the top. it's also specifying a remote IP address, which it shouldn't be doing.

Where did you get these configs? The link I sent you above generates working configs on install.

i will reload my os right now and create new configs and send you them, i used a sh auto installer file id rather setup the vpn via the client method but i cannot get the msi file download

.msi is used for Windows, so you wouldn't be able to get that for a Linux based OS. Though, the link I posted above works. Please do use it. I've used it on numerous occasions without issue.
