Will files be transferred when upgrading?
When upgrading/moving servers in a package, do all the files on all the servers get automatically transferred to the new server? I expect so, but I want to confirm if.
Re: Will files be transferred when upgrading?
Doing any standard upgrade, such as increasing CPU/ram or player slots will not cause any lose in files.

And what about when you move the server?kraze wrote:Doing any standard upgrade, such as increasing CPU/ram or player slots will not cause any lose in files.
Re: Will files be transferred when upgrading?
Any machine move within the same location will retain all files and your IP, any move outside of your location will cause your IP to change but your files will be retained.

Re: Will files be transferred when upgrading?
Whew great! I'm moving, so I need to move my server to avoid latency lag. So I'll be able to connect to my Minecraft server and my website in the same way as I do now? No need for changing FQDN's?
Re: Will files be transferred when upgrading?
Correct, nothing would need to be altered on your end. Though, can you elaborate a bit more on the latency issues you are seeing? Generally, we can work with users to correct any routing issues they may be seeing.
