Life is Feudal works!

Started playing Life is Feudal and after losing connections on other servers, or lagging out I decided to run a hosted one.

Of course that lasted for 7 hours before they screwed the pooch as usual. Thats when I found NFOservers.

I loved the idea of running a VPS and whatever dedicated game servers I wanted at a lot cheaper rates and having total control of the game.

It was a bit of a roller coaster getting it up and running, but eventually using the steam guide for creating and setting up a VPS Dedicated Life is Feudal Server at...

worked like a champ after installing microsoft visual c++ redistribution and copying msvcp120.dll and msvcr120.dll from individual files to the game server directory everything worked.

You don't need to follow the youtube guides showing how to populate the database. Using the steam guide, after you start the server the database will get populated automatically.
