linking VPS ip address to Domain name

hey i just brought a domain name from crazydomains.com.au so far i have no idea what im doing lol but i have changed this in the panel

Name Servers
Name Server 1 ns1.nfoservers.com 206.253.195.193
Name Server 2 ns2.nfoservers.com 64.94.100.18

i also did this


DNS Settings
A Records funmartialheroes.com 192.223.25.211

and i seen u had to change C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\host.file

so i entered this line at end

127.0.0.1 funmartialheroes.com

and i was wondering what els do i have to do to get the domain name i brough www.funmartialheroes.com to link up to my ip address 192.223.25.211 that i currently have wampp installed on that has a website running any help would be great help thanx

If you don't have webhosting with us, then you wouldn't set your nameservers to our. Instead, you'll keep your nameservers set to the default, with your registrar, then create some A records. One A record would be for the subdomain "@" and the other would be for "www", and both would point to the IP address of your VDS.

hmm ok so after some hours http://funmartialheroes.com is the woking address but if u add www. in front it doesent work www.funmartialheroes.com is that normal or is it something i have set wrong

and i havent changed anything as of yet

Not a problem! Yeah, each DNS change has to propagate individually, so they seem to have just happened at different rates.
