Concerning my VPS

Post by lochlan »

when i try to install msvcr.dll to SysWOW64 and then open the application on my server that needed it.

i get the error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application."

im using Windows Server 2012 R2

and then i cant do anything, would someone be able to install all the proper .dll files onto my server? or replace my current server with the one i used to have on my NFO account, it wouldnt let me use my old one because i bought a teamspeak server after i had my old VPS suspended.
more preferably just replace my current server with my old one

thanks

Manually placing DLL files is almost never recommended. Instead find the application that installs that DLL and install it. Based on that DLL name you need Microsoft Visual C runtime.

so when i download the visual c++ or w.e where do i go from there, i should add roles and features in my server manager right? but it dosnt even let me select my server, it says "The request to list features available on the specified server failed."

would it be possible to just delete this server and renew my old one? i legit just purchased it and it has everything the same as my last one, except my old one has all my stuff on it

If your files are still in-tact, you can renew your old VDS from your Payments tab in your control panel: https://www.nfoservers.com/control/account_payments.pl

The program you are running should list specifically which visual C redistributable you need, but you can install multiple versions without problems.
