Hi,
Let's assume that I host my personal website on my VDS at nfoservers. One of the pieces of information that is shown in the whois.net domain lookup is the name servers used for the domain. Now, if I list my personal website on my resume and my potential employer does a whois lookup on my personal website domain, then they would see the name servers as "ns1.nfoservers.com". The potential employer would then discover that my personal website is hosted with a company that rents game servers. This would create an unfavorable impression of myself. Would it be possible to hide this information from the whois database? If so, how can this be done?
Thanks the help in advance.

Re: Possible to hide DNS name server from whois database?
I have a WHOIS protection service on my domain and nameservers are still displayed. Even if they weren't displayed in whois, someone can still find your nameservers associated with your domain.
You could use an alternative free DNS host like cloudflare though, if you want.

Hi Soja
How would I configure my personal website domain to use Cloudfare's DNS name servers on my VDS with nfoservers.com so that cloudflare's nameserver shows up on the whois.net lookup rather then nfoservers name servers?
Thanks.

Never mind. Google told me how to use Cloudflare's DNS name servers.
Thanks for your help.
