vps ips
so i seen a server i had a while back wasnt nfo but had a different private ip to public ip so when the public was attacked there was never a response i want to know how this was done if anyone knows how this was done?

I've seen a different private IP versus public IP for Valve games at times when the server is doing NAT traversal or just confused, but doing that does not increase (D)DoS resistance. The server can still be attacked through the public IP and port that players use to connect.
