Does anyone know how to change map names when shown on the server list ? like i have a map from my friends server. i says "bacarra_ilocos_747" when the server shows. is there anyway i can change it to "de_747" ?

A good advice dont fool around with maps, as renaming them and what ever you may do, not that it can't be done, but at least you may safe your self from som headache.
