Cant connect to my server

i tried connecting to my server. and it says:

you have been disconnected from the server.
Reason: Erroe verifying STEAM UserID Ticket(server was unable to contact the authentication server, 27)

anyone know whats wrong ?

steam has been very busy the past few days since Half-Life 2 was released. If you havent already, I would recommend restarting your STEAM client as well as restarting your server.

you mean like reinstall steam ?

no just exit steam and then log back in

i reinstalled it. it works now
