how do i install plugins?

is it for AMX or admin mod ?

amx :

download amx. extract it into your docs. your a new folder.put it into the myscripts folder. click compile.bat to turn the .sma plugin into a *.amx file. go to mybinaries. it should be there. then upload it into yout FTP into the addons>amx>plugins. then after that, open your plugins.INI, and then name it in there.

admin mod :

its still not working damn it...can i get a list of mods that are compatible with my amx? i think booya installed amx x 0.9.9 on it last night but im not sure can u check for me?

yes he installed amx 0.9.9, and the plugins from http://www.amxmod.net will work for that mod, however some of them are really old, so they might not work with the current Counter-Strike as there has been lots of updates to the game since then.

Thing with plugins, you find one you want to try, follow the directions and install it, make sure you got all the modules needed, if it doesnt work or crashes server, remove it and try a different one.

well im trying to install the superior pistols only mod and the nukem mod and i put the files in the plugin folder but they arent working still

did you enable them in the plugins.ini for amx?

make sure there isnt a module needed for them either

I believe the nukem mode needs some extra files uploaded to ftp like sounds and textures if Im thinking of the right one

you put the plugin name in amx/config/plugins.ini like this

pluginname.amx, each one gets a new line like all the other plugins listed.

well i did that but i tried activating it and it didnt work and then i hav no idea what the nukem command is
