new feature on control panel

This is used for general discussion that is not necessarily server-related.

new feature on control panel

Post by bOoya »

I would like to see something on the main account (or new main page) that shows the history of subscriptions with us. This would prove usefull when a server is shut down, the owner can see what happened or why it got shut down. This page wouldnt need everything that the events page has, but I think it should be a similar layout.
Again its not desperately needed, just a suggestion.
whudya think?
edits:
 maybe shows subscription creations and even links to paypal to cancel them.

this is a good idea

just could have the server listed on the left hand side saying disabled due to:

paypal payment failure

violation of the TOS

etc etc

have their regular account info as well, and the server tab on the left, but when they click on that, all the info displays. Tried to get payment on this day, failed. will try again in a day or 2.

I think at this time tom and john are emailing information about why via a script, but perhaps that information thats sent via email should be placed in control panel as another medium of informing the owner why

this has been the latest thing financial wise that is the most asked question about their server, went down and they dont know what the heck for.

It's pretty much always because of a payment failure.

I'll add that to my "to do".

At the top of my "to do" right now is the webserver, so it will be next month before I can get to pretty much anything else ;)

haha, thats what I just told booya in PM, if it went down 90% most likely its paypal failure, just have them email rentals@nfoe.net

hope the webserver move goes smooth

I wrote the "to do" list down for awhile, but it got so depressingly long that I stopped. Now I just try to remember the most important things, and concentrate on them. If something comes up again and again, I'll remember it.
