how do i edit stats.cfg in my ftp link for stats?

you need to either use a 3rd party ftp client or download the file using the built-in IE FTP to your harddrive, like your desktop, edit it, then upload.

You can use the built-in editor that comes with ftp programs, you use notepad/wordpad if you download the file.
