Post by Eagle{1} »

Ok, I just got my server the other day and I keep noticing a admin error message in my console when I enter the game. The message reads:

[ADMIN] ERROR: Amx string to small. Required size 35 is 30.

also:

Plugin cstrike\addons\admmod\scripts\plugin_antiflood.amx returned.
error 10 when executing plugin_command.

I am very new at running a server and setting it up. First timer u can say.
can u please help me with this situation.

Thanks. Eagle.

The is one more thing I see when in the server...A3D not running?

Download a modified plugin_antiflood.amx I made here

Upload that to your addons/adminmod/scripts folder using FTP (file manager page, click on link provided)

Thanks Eagle

Thats odd. Either your IE FTP has already uploaded the file and its not shutting down the transfer window since its such a small file to upload or theres something wrong with your IE FTP. If there is a window that pops up asking for you to overwrite, you need to click on yes to continue the transfer.

I would suggest trying a 3rd party ftp client, http://www.smartftp.com and uploading the file that way. If all else fails, come visit us on IRC and we'll try uploading it for you.

Turn off a3d on your client side, should use eax or none. I believe its s_disable_a3d and s_a3d 0. Thats all client side, its a known error that you can ignore if you cant get rid of it through changing your sound settings and cvars.
