i recieve the following error now after I used Resgen to make my res files for making the downloads faster on my webspace.
i see this error in the console ingame any ideas to make them go away?
couldn't open overviews/{mapname}txt. using default values for overview mode.
I copied all the text files to the overview file as well as made the overview file on the webspace and copied them there. Defaults work fine, but would like to see the errors go away.
Place the overviews/mapname.txt file onto your own computer, in your overviews folder client side.
The error shows up because its not on client, not because its not on gameserver or webserver.
Now the file is not a required one for the client or gameserver to run the map, but if you wish to have the error gone, make sure the res file has the txt file marked to be download. Make sure the res file is uploaded to both the gameserver and the webserver maps directory.
