Ping Boost

Does this actually boost your ping, say, I were East Coast, and I were to get only East coast scrims, would I really have to pay the extra $20 just to boost my ping? That is just a tad bit pricey for me.

You don't have to, the ping accelerator is just an option. You can read up on the ping accelerator on this page.
