Upgrading current server

I am thinking about upgrading my current server, but I couldnt decide what to really upgrade. I was thinking either moving from the value LA to premium or just keeping value and getting the ping accelerator. They are both about the same price so which one is better? or atleast what exactly does Premium give you. Also...(lol yeah its long)...when would be the best time to upgrade so that I am not paying for the upgrade but only getting like half a month? Should it be right after the payment?

You'd likely see a larger performance increase from adding the ping accelerator than from switching locations, unless one of your players is having routing issues to Value LA servers.

The Premium option uses more InterNAP bandwidth, which tends to be a bit better than the alternative. We can also make route adjustments over Premium that we would not be able to make over Value. But, they're both good.

You can upgrade whenever you wish and it will charge you a prorated amount to cover the difference for rest of the already-paid month. If you'd prefer to avoid the separate prorated payment, you could make the upgrade a day or two before your payment date, and it would not do it (since at that point the partial payment would be too small to justify the hassle).
