MOTD QUestion

I was told if i host my banner on photobucket then get the HTML Tag that the banner would show up in the MOTD. When i put it on there all it shows is

<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k117/ ... g2copy.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>

not the photo. How do i make the work?
