hey i hnave a server setting question!!

for cod4 theres 2 server settings one is maxrate its default at 5000, what should it be set at?

and the other is //sv_fps 20 but it is blocked out by those 2 forward slashes.....so should we be using that setting for cod4? if so at what setting i know you guys are very familar with the cod4 servers....any ideas...

You could safely raise that to 20000, probably. More is generally better for maxrate to ensure that it doesn't choke clients that need the extra data.

20 is the default FPS. If you'd like, you can test higher values such as 33, but keep in mind that this will affect the "feel" of the game and could lead to some glitching behavior (at least, that's what we saw sometimes under CoD2).
