The news about outage would be more of an asset if we had an RSS feed of it. I'd like to put just the news of outages and upcoming maintenance issues on the server, on my server's webpage, so everyone can see the upcoming status.
Hopefully that isn't suggesting to much work!

I think the main complication with an RSS feed would be integrating it with our login system.
I will add looking into it to my "to do" list. With so much on my "to do" list right now it will be a little while before I can get to it, though =\.
