Sorry about the delay. A second thread wasn't really needed for this, we've just been very busy tonight. As I mentioned in the other thread, that message comes from the autoinstaller finding something else in the destination folder. This is worked around by either using the file manager to delete the contents in that folder, or by specifying a different destination folder in the autoinstaller tool.

I am having this problem on a fresh install. Nothing in the tree to delete. I want to install to a subdomain of forums. The only way I can get it to work is use forums.mywebsite.com/forums and that is pointless

Go ahead and submit a support request about this and I'll take a closer look at your specific case later this morning.

Often the problem is just that there are files in the folder that start with a ".", such as an old ".htaccess" file.
