Control Panel -> User accounts?

Post by Kyniption »

I attempted to create a separate user account on the virtual server, however when I attempt to connect to the virtual server again and login to the new user account it does not appear. The only thing I see is The administrator account.

Did you make the new user an administrator and add him to the "Remote Desktop Users" group (or similar)?

Also, two notes:

* Microsoft charges for each additional user, so will need to contact us with the number that you are planning to add so that we can adjust your monthly rate.

* Windows 2003 only allows 2 administrator RDP logins at a time, and Win2k8+ only allows one. If you need more concurrent users to be able to log in, or non-administrator users to be able to log in, you'll need to talk to us about implementing Terminal Services licensing. There is another fee associated with each user who needs to be able to access the machine remotely under that licensing model.

Oh. Okay well its not a must so I guess adding another user isn't needed. Thank you for the fast response. :)
