Re: Update Squeeze
When I created our autoinstaller for Squeeze, I had a problem with their installer that was related to the detection of the network card in Xen, but I don't think I had this one, so it's a bit of a mystery to me. From the error that you're getting, it does sound like the issue may be with their kernel's Xen support somehow, although it also could be a more general non-Xen-specific issue with the upgrade process going awry.
Are you able to back up your files and start fresh with an autoinstalled copy of Squeeze?

At the moment, a fresh installation is too much effortEdge100x wrote:

I think we will wait for some kernel updates and then give it another try.
Thanks.
Re: Update Squeeze
Ok. I hope they fix it!
I tested with my default autoinstalled version of Squeeze with all the latest updates, and it still works, which is interesting. It also claimed to be using vmlinuz-2.6.32-5-amd64.
If they have a non-Xen kernel package, that might also work. Or, you could try compiling your own, and fiddle with the options. (This could also be a problem with a support library, though.)
