SrcdsFpsboost.ex Not Worken

Hi ive run the srcdsfpsboost.exe then started my server and up at the top in green letters of the command promt it says about 300fps with nobody in the server so i closed everything and run the server withought the srcdsfpsboost.exe and it shows the same results about 300 fps and ingame its showen me 250fps So does it not work or am i doing something wrong
any help would be nice im on the 3 core vps runnen windows 2003

Also i set my server to run threw command promt and for some reason everytime i start the server its on dust and the only thing in my mapcycle list is dust2 inferno and nuke what could be causing this?

If this is an Orangebox (CS:S/TF2/etc) server, it sounds like it's working. Valve halved the framerate on all servers, so Win2k3 servers run at 250 FPS now.

You can set the initial map for your server through the autoexec.cfg file.

An Orangebox server on 2008 R2 with HPET enabled will give you close to 500 FPS, but it also doesn't seem to matter if the fpsboost program is running. 2008 x64 should behave about the same.
