Hi I was looking to run a CS:S server, L4D2 server and a mumble server. Which VDS package should I be looking at this? I "think" the 2 core 2GB would be good enough, but am I going to experience some bad lag with this configuration? I would like to do a 20-24 person CS:S server, and the mumble one can be as low as 20 people I think.
Thanks for any help.

I'd recommend the 2-core package. The Murmur server won't use any notable amount of CPU resources, so you don't really have to factor that in.

Re: CS:S + L4D2 + Mumble
Thanks for the speedy reply. I went ahead with the 2 core one with 2008R2. I know you're suppose to set the Priority for the sourcds process (orhwatever it is) to above normal and not high. Is this true? Also what should I be setting the L4D2 server process to?
Thanks again
Thanks again

Either above normal or high will probably work OK, just don't use realtime. All your game and voice servers should be set to this same higher priority level, unless one is much more important than the others.

Re: CS:S + L4D2 + Mumble
Just another question, I'm a bit new to the L4D2 scene, is everything locked at 30 (fps and tickrate)? I started a server and on the cmd screen, it won't go above 30 fps, is this expected?
Thanks
Thanks
Re: CS:S + L4D2 + Mumble
L4D2 is locked at 30 FPS and 30 tickrate by default. You can unlock the FPS by installing Sourcemod and using the "sm_cvar fps_max 0" command, but the tickrate can't be changed.
