Having server password troubles.

Well this started a few days ago but everytime i change the map a password goes on the server and we don't know what the password is. Also the server will change maps by itself after awhile even if i left cal.cfg on when i left. This is EXTREMELY annoying since i have to reboot my server everytime i want to use it. Can someone please help me? I DID change the "rcon pass" under "server.cfg" but that is all i have changed recently.

its because cal.cfg has its own password and your server.cfg is being executed, which has its own password.

PM me your info and I can resolve it, or you can fix it by looking at the passes.

now if its rcon pass that keeps changing

then check the rcon_password in server.cfg and cal.cfg

Make sure that you always also have a password on your private server. If you leave the server open, our system will automatically set a default password for you next time it checks.

We had to add that feature to our system because we had a few private server abusers who used them as publics instead.

This was happening to me as well. In fact it happend to everyone I know on the same day. I think that somehow Steam was glitching and not allowing people in to passworded servers.
