Hello, I recently got a VPS from you guys and so far it's running good except one problem. I'm having trouble launching a tekkit server. The default settings weren't working so I checked the tekkit forums for an answer to the problem and found this http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php ... 834.0.html
It says to work, I need java 7. I tried installing Java 7 and it still didn't work, so now i'm wondering if i got the right version of it. I checked the Java version in the control panel and it also says Java 7. What did I do wrong? My OS is Windows server 2008 x64

Re: Java 7
Make sure that you have the full version of Java updated. Sometimes just the Java web plugin will be installed and updated. Also, try installing both 32 and 64 bit versions. 64 bit should work fine, but perhaps 32 bit is needed in this case.

Re: Java 7
Ok, I know i have the full version because when i go to the control panel and then to java, it says in running java 1.7. Also, I have tried both 64 and 32bit.

Re: Java 7
Did you delete java 6?
We tried the same thing, and found when restarting the VDS, java 6 was loading up.
Removing java 6 and restarting, then java 7 starts.
Also for your gameserver, you have to edit your command line to start from the java 7 folder.
