Half Life server problems

I want to try to make a server but i recently found out that i am behind one if not numerous firewalls and I cant figure out how to deactivate them.

Heres a list of the things I either know I have firewalls with or just think

-Linksys router

-Norton Antivirus 2003

-Cable modem

-and possibly one that came with windows xp

The only one that I am certain of is the linksys router firewall.

Is their a list of ports I should open to make a server.

please go look at http://www.steampowered.com for this support

we support game rentals, not home based servers off your cable line

theres a specific set of ports that steam needs to auth and communicate on.
