Stuck on First Map

Post by TwinkleTwinkie »

I was having this issue earlier, and posted a separate thread. After much trial and error I asked NFO to wipe and reload the server for me so I could work step by step.

What I've been able to find is that the server changes maps just fine, as long as SourceMod isn't installed. For some reason as soon as I install Source Mod it won't rotate to the next map correctly. I can even uninstall it and it will start working again.

I have my gameserver_modes.txt setup correctly so I know it isn't that. Any suggestions? I've been working on this for a week and it's extremely frustrating.

It sounds like SM may be conflicting with how CSGO does it rotation. Do you have any nextmap or rockthevote plugin installed? I believe SM includes a votemap by default, try putting any of those in the disabled folder to see if that helps.

@Juski> You said I had a valid point! You can't take it back now! It's out there!

Flying, that was exactly what I needed. Works great now.

You are welcome to re-implement some plugins as and test over time, but for now that's how my server is set up. I use the round limit for map cycles on all my servers (essentially all my servers are set exactly how the loading screen tells it should be set; ie "on the box") sourcemod is installed as only a tool for basic administration.
