This game looks like it will be a blast. Kind of like AVP, but more fun. Already made a background for our site. I will add it to the line up. When they release the dedi files. Yes another Unreal masterpiece.

My only hope is they have proper rcon support.

Good. Thought it was just me! Looks like something to do with the username. Could be someone tried to hack the server via a mysql injection and screwed the pooch. Who knows.

I attempted to grab the files by using the app_update command in Steam CMD for the app number but it threw me an error.

Hopefully they post an update there soon.

What is the app ID? I can't seem to find it.

Were you able to use that ID to get the files by chance?

Nope. Did not work, and I do not believe that is the correct number. That number is the application number to launch or buy the game. For example...

CSGO steam app is http://store.steampowered.com/app/730/

But to update or install via steamcmd it is "app_update 740"

Same game, but different numbers to install and update the server. I tried 215480, but it did not work either.

Still can not create a forum account there, despite having sent an email to the web admin.

I am not sure how they do it then, I played around with a few numbers such as 215480,215490, 480,490..etc and all of them failed.

Either one of them is right and the files are just not added yet or we are just all kinds of wrong.

They have released the dedicated server files, sort of. They released them as a torrent until they can get them added to Steam Tools.

This still seems to be an early build of the server, as you cannot do a map rotation. What ever map you start the server with, thats it. There seems to be an active webadmin in the config, havent checked that out yet. Server does work, and *seems* stable. Has 5 maps in all and one game mode currently. Server is sitting idle at 170 megs RAM, and 2% CPU.

So far it looks pretty good. Full 40 slot server is using about 180 megs of RAM and around 10% CPU, so thats not too bad. If they could just get the servers working with a map rotation, that would be awesome. Full rcon support would be great too. Docks server stays pretty full.
