In need of assistance to open a cs 1.6 server

I am using an unmanaged VDS and I am having trouble with setting up a Counter-Strike 1.6 server. I am using OS Windows 2008 and I am also using this guide to help me go through step-by-step: http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =67&t=4021. I am stuck on step #4 because I do not have anything in my Game Installs folder named "hldsbse" or anything with hlds.

Thank you for your response! But one problem I encountered was when I typed in "force_install_dir hldsbase", nothing seemed to happen. Will this effect me being able to configure my servers?

There should not be a response to that command. After typing it, move on to the next command.
