Come back after 4 year MIA

Hi

Ive been hosting cscz wc3 server back in 2009 and the server was doing pretty good avg of 20 players /day and ranked 3rd on gamemonitor . I quitted cause the bug svc_bad that keep on kicking 80% of players on my server . Back then i was looking everywhere for a fix but no ones seem to know why and how it happened . Now 4 years later i decide to come back but this time on cs 1.6 ( cscz player base is dead ) we have custom warcraft 3 mods with 8 new races , gunshop mod, gun skins and much more . Only problem is i ve lost contact with most of our players and now server is only getting a peak of 8 players a day . Is there a way to advertise our server ? Ive been around wc3 server in cs 1.6 and i can affirm that nones of them has the mod we have . Can any1 point me at the right direction on how to bring ppl to our server ?

You can join a few steam groups and post your server ip in there, that wouldn't hurt. Honestly though I think the best way to advertise your server is to keep it populated as best you can, even if you only have 8 people. Players attract players.

Thanks for the advice .Im trying to get every1 to be on for an hour or two but its hard with every 1 schedule nowadays . I tried to advertise on 17buddies.net but i think i need to advertise on an US site like gamebanana but their price is crazy high 100k impression for 80$ but thing is base on what they say it wont even last a day ... So i turned to the stack advertising methode on their skin section first position for 100$ a month but i think they are nit interested at publishing my server for 100$ a month since i got no replies frim them any1 have a site in mind where i can advertise ?
