Some programs needs windows web server to host some items. so i want to make my VDS usefull and make it my webserver is that possible i saw many videos on creating webservers one of em are

That guide is from 2006, so I would consider it quite dated. When installing software you're unfamiliar with, it would be best to use a more recent guide as it will likely be more accurate.
As far as whether or not turning your VDS into your webserver is useful, it depends on you. If you're going to be using it often and don't mind learning about running your own webserver, than I would say yes. If you want a webserver without the hassle, you can get Web hosting as an add-on to your VDS through a change-order request (http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =22&t=9005).
