Anyway to load balance and setup ddos mitigation?
Is there anyway to load balance a bunch of servers and setup ddos mitigation? I'd like to do this for my external dedis that aren't in this network since nfo has splendid firewalls.
Re: Anyway to load balance and setup ddos mitigation?
Load-balancing is a complicated topic and how you do it will depend greatly on what services you are running. DDoS mitigation is also very complicated.
What are you running?
We won't be able to assist with configuring services hosted elsewhere, of course

I host game servers and I've got a colocation of my own at hurricane electronic with my own dedis just wanted some place to be able to load balance with I'm currently not running anything just a newbie in this topic ;l

You can host game servers with us, or you could host them off-site. There isn't really an in-between =\. If you try to redirect players, that isn't going to help with DDoS attacks; your off-site servers would still be vulnerable.

I thought the dedis here did not have the firewall tab? And I'm trying to cover up the ip by using VDS's from nfo as a reverse proxy so my game players would connect to the reverse proxy first then it would go to my dedis.

Managed dedicated servers have a firewall tab, but it's not as powerful as the VDS firewall tab. Neither is required for our anti-DDoS protection to work.
Trying to setting up a proxy isn't the best solution long-term because it will hurt performance and end up costing extra money. You should consider switching to a VDS or dedicated server here directly.
