So I checked the order page today to see if there are any new toys I can buy for my VPS. I didn't see anything new but I noticed the price for the exact specs as my current VPS has gone down by $17. I couldn't figure out what I missed so I clicked Checkout to see a list of changes, and to my surprise:

It is safe, yes 
As new hardware and technology is released we find ways to lower our prices across the board, new and old customers are more than welcome to take advantage of our lower pricing and lock it in with our grandfathered pricing.
