IDE Defender

I'm having a prob on my server,
I'm getting this message randomly. "The IDE Defender is not available to you at this time".....and then it trys buys me a whole bunch of sec ammo.
It's like it's bound to a certain key...(it's not I've checked) and it runs randomly. I need help..I'm trying to get all of the bugs outa my server....

(server is tun.nuclearfallout.net)

I have one suggestion.. see if that weapon is restricted, if it is un-restrict it, it if isn't.. wait for the offical helpers or go to the irc support channel

not restricted.....works fine...shield is the only restricted wep...it's so weird...it just buys me a galil and a degal sometimes, and if i don't got enoughf money just sec ammo.

you most likely have one of your keys bound to 'autobuy'
this feature will automatically try to buy you certain weapons (which it reads from a file called 'autobuy.txt' in your CStrike dir). if you were on CT, obviously you would not be allowed to buy the defender. If its not that, then one of your keys is probably bound to 'galil;primammo;deagle;secammo' which would make you try to buy those weapons whenever you hit that button.

I use autobuy.. for the stuff I forget to buy.. ammo, armor, kit, and he gernade.. the perfect use for it I think.

ok....unbound autobuy and the sort....still happening though...
does the server impose it's autobuy feature on anyone? This is starting to make me

I would check your config.cfg and userconfig.cfg's as well as autobuy.txt and rebuy.txt

checked..and no dice..cleared out all stuff with autobuy and rebuy in it....

Sounds like he he has autobuy bound to a movement key. But that is just me.

did a search for autobuy in my config.cfg/user.cfg and it was not there.

ok...cd broke today...and it started again.

I'm ok if i'm running c-d, but it starts acting up if vac and hlguard is on. (i comment hl guard out when i'm running c-d)

any ideas

if by c-d you mean cheating death... I think vac has to be off.
