Sound Issues Remain After Client Patch ..read on

Post by markym »

So mates, the client patch did not fix my sound issues with MP_Journey ...still testing MP_Damage to see if that's still borked sound as well. Even after today's client patch I'm getting sound issues on maps I didn't have sound issues on before. Please post up and let me know if you are having sound issues on any maps and what maps. This is usually ConquestLarge maps as the smaller maps didn't have the sound issues for me, just the larger maps. I also had several other players in game report sound issues today as well. Since we have no patch notes, I'm not even sure if the sound issues were supposed to have been fixed. Also had some reported lag issue with MP_Damage again which I'll test today but my have to remove that map again.

I have not had time to play yet, but watching the chat on procon I saw people complaining of sound on lots of the maps now not just the few where it was happening before.

yes, I'm still seeing many sound issues today and from the client patch notes it doesn't look like they touched the sound issue at all. This game got released way before it was ready and we are still just beta testing this game for them -- doing their job, helping them fix a game we paid for, paying for servers for people to play the game on too. Wow, I wish my job worked like this where I could ship out and get paid for crap work and then get everyone else to help me fix it and pay for people to be able to enjoy it ....I'm in the wrong dam business for sure.
